Colin Bottle
Managing Director
VISTA Europe
Colin Bottle has been with VISTA since 1990 and, since 1995, has been responsible for the division’s P&L and overall management in his role as Managing Director.
Colin’s career with VISTA spans many key roles. Originally employed in a project management role, Colin progressed rapidly in both technical and management areas, holding positions such as Technology Director and Business Development Director, before being promoted to his current role. These experiences provided Colin with an integrated view into the many facets of VISTA, including an in-depth understanding of VISTA’s software as well as first-hand knowledge of most of key European clients.
Prior to joining VISTA, Colin held various roles in the publishing industry, including IT Manager for a key UK distributor as well as completing several project management assignments in a number of other industries.
Gary Bowman
Product Engineering Director

Gary Bowman joined VISTA in 1988 and, in his current position as Product Engineering Director, is responsible for the overall development and management of all applications globally.
Throughout his years at VISTA, Gary has held several positions within the organization. Starting as a consultant, he quickly moved through the ranks to Project Manager, Customer Services Manager, Applications Development Director, Professional Services Director, and then to his previous role as Operations Director. He has managed several significant projects with key publishers throughout his career including Hodder & Stoughton (now Hodder Headline), Cambridge University Press, and Littlehampton Book Services. Most notably, Gary led the team that developed PubEasy, changing the way booksellers and publishers do business.
Prior to joining VISTA, Gary spent 10 years at Butterworths (now a division of LexisNexis) in various IT Development and Project Management positions.
Brian Gibson
Chief Executive Officer
VISTA North America
Brian Gibson, a key executive at VISTA since the company’s inception, is responsible for the overall corporate management and strategic direction of VISTA International’s North American operation.
Throughout his 25-year career, Brian has had a significant impact on profitability and growth at VISTA, driving the company from five UK employees in 1977 to an international industry leader serving the world’s largest publishing houses from offices in Europe, North America and Australia.
Prior to becoming CEO, North America, Brian served as Group CEO, Managing Director of European operations and founder of VISTA’s operations in North America.
Jay Teitelbaum
Chief Operating Officer
VISTA North America
Jay Teitelbaum has been with VISTA since 1987, and as the Chief Operating Officer in North America for VISTA International he is responsible for the Professional Services, Customer Services, and Account Management functions.
Jay graduated from Rutgers College in 1985, receiving a Bachelor's degree with Honors in Computer Science. After graduating, he spent several years as a software engineer at RCA's aerospace division before joining VISTA.
During his career at VISTA, Jay has worked on numerous customer projects and managed the installation of fulfillment, warehouse management, and other related systems at over 25 major North American and international publishers. Prior to entering into his current role, Jay served as Vice President of Operations, Development Group Director, Project Director, Project Manager, and Senior Software Consultant.
Jay is currently an active member of the American Management Association (AMA), the IEEE Computer Society, and the Book Industry Study Group (BISG).
